PARRSBORO – Dianne C. Hazel, age 71, of Parrsboro passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Spicer and Mae (Stronge) Hazel.
She is survived by her friend, Donna Higgins, Parrsboro; daughters, Linda, Como, B.C.; Glenda, Parrsboro; Angel Sears (Todd Howatt), Amherst; sisters, Lois Allen, Advocate Harbour; Joyce, Saint John, N.B.; Eugena, Yarmouth; Cheryl Stewart (Angus), Parrsboro; brother, Clifford, Spencer's Island; 5 grandchildren, Brittany, R.J., Jessica, Charles, Valerie, 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard “Sonny”; brothers, Glen, Bob and Rupert.
Visitation took place Friday, November 27, 2015 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service was held on Saturday, Rev. Henry Devito officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery.
