Passed peacefully away with his loving family by his side at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Ruby; sons David (Barbara), Gary, and Dale; brother Russell (Gertel); grandchildren Lindsay, Ian, Michelle, Christina, Devon and Ashley; daughter-in-law Amy; and special loving step-daughters Janice and Donna Spurrell. Special thanks to the staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for the excellent care they provided Dave with during his time there, as well as special family members and friends for their love and support during the last month. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, Saturday, December 5th, 2015 from 2-9 p.m, and Sunday, December 6th, 2015 from 2-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at St. Philip's Anglican Church at 2 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations can be made in Dave's name to St. Philip's Anglican Church, or to a charity of one's choice.
