Formerly of Conche, White Bay, NL, passed peacefully away at Woodfords Comfort Manor, Holyrood on Friday, December 4, 2015, age 95 years. Retired housekeeper for the late Rev. Edward Walsh for 67 years. Predeceased by her parents Ellen (Kearney) and Joseph Hunt; her siblings Jack Hunt (Anne), Edmund Hunt, age 7 years, Margaret Bromley (Herb), James Hunt (Nellie), Rita Abbott (Leonard), William Hunt (Margaret); nephews Stephen and Vincent and niece Madeline (Hunt) Walsh. Leaving to mourn her sister Rose Casey (Thomas, deceased); nieces Joan Walsh, Judy Casey, Theresa Foley and Nellie Dunphy; nephews Gordon and Terry Casey, Joseph, Clyde, Edmund, Wilfred and Francis Hunt and Peter Bromley; many great and great-great-nieces and nephews, especially Cohen and Avery who brought so much joy to her life while living with Joan and Tom. Sincere thanks to her sister Rose and all her nieces and nephews and their spouses for being so helpful to her over the years. Special thanks to Joan Walsh (Tom) for taking care of her and looking after her needs for 42 years and to the staff of Woodfords Comfort Manor for the care they provided during her time there. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 4-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from St. Teresa's Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
