YOUNG, LLEWELLYN ALLEN
1937 - 2015
Llewellyn Allen Young, 78, of Hillsborough passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Tiverton, NS on June 4th, 1937 the son of the late Bernard and Monique Young.
He worked as a fisherman and as a welder for various companies, last working as a Security Guard before his retirement. He was an avid baseball fan having played when he was young. His favorite team was the Toronto Blue Jays and he was very excited this past season to watch them go so far.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Ruth (Kennie) Young; children, Danny (Diane) of Hillsborough, Carey (Hazel) of Fredericton, Derrick of Hillsborough, Adrian of Hillsborough and Katherine Tingley (Herb) of Beaverbrook; his 13 grandchildren and several treasured great-grandchildren; sister, Anne Crocker of Smith's Cove; brother, Ralph (Lynn) of Ontario. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Joan (Elliott) and a brother, Edward.
The family invites you to join them for a time of visitation, sharing memories and for refreshments at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, December 9th, 2015 from 7 to 9pm. Interment will be held in Tiverton, NS at a later date.
