SEARS, Robert Russell, 71, Bear Point, Shelburne County passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his home. Born at Shag Harbour on August 2, 1944, he was a son of the late Russell and Marion (Matheson) Sears. He enjoyed lobster fishing and enjoyed getting in the woods for hunting. He is survived by Aunt, Tressi Crowell; nephews, Robert Sears (Jodi), Freddie Sears, Sonny Sears (Sharon); nieces, Judy Malone (Michael), Gloria Banks, Kathy Porter; great nephews, Nathan Sears, Nevan Sears; great nieces, Natalie Sears, Jenna Stewart. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Alfred; sister, Iva Marie Sears; nephew, Larry Sears. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2015 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Rev. Alvin McComiskey officiating. Interment will be in the Birch Hill Cemetery, Bear Point. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
