FEARON, AUSTIN EMERY
1927 - 2015
Moncton, NB - Austin Emery Fearon, 88, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, December 6, 2015, surrounded by his family. Born in Moncton and raised in Fords Mills, NB, he was the son of the late John William Fearon and Helen Mildred Boyce.
Austin married the love of his life, Esther Comeau, on November 28, 1953. They recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. He spent his 39 year career as an Aircraft Engineer with MCA and EPA, retiring with DOT at the age of 63. He faithfully attended St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church.
He was the proud father of four children, Bill (Jamie-Lynn), Mary (Dave), David (Monique) and Lisa. He truly enjoyed being grandfather to Jaimie, Shawn, Kelsey, Kaelan, Julie, Janelle, Rory, as well as a great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bedsides his parents, Austin was predeceased by his half-brother, Dr. Blair Fearon (Toronto).
A heartfelt thank you to Susan Dixson, Dr. Donald and the ‘BEAUTIFUL’ staff of Serenacare for their loving kindness. Special mention goes out to the incredible staff of the Moncton City Hospital Emergency Department, and in particular Drs. Angus MacDonald and Heather Kelly as well as the amazing nursing staff.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Wednesday, December 9th at 11 am. Internment will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB at a later date.
