February 1, 1936 – November 21, 2015
Jim passed away peacefully at Sechelt Hospital in Sechelt, B.C.   
Born and educated in Victoria, he was predeceased by his parents Bill and Jean and his brother Bill. He is survived by his sisters Valerie (Russ) and Heather (Bill), his sister-in-law Sandra and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  
Jim loved to write about and paint West Coast schooners and lighthouses, when he wasn’t playing his guitar and singing his latest new song. Ever the troubadour. Private family commemoration to follow at a later date.
