Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, December 7, 2015. Predeceased by his parents: Herb and Jean George and his sister: Ivy. Leaving to mourn his loss are his beloved children Cory (Paula), Jason (Renee) and Lisa (Mark), their mother: Anne; ten grandchildren; sisters: Judy (Bruce) and Ruby, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Visitation will resume at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour, Random Island, on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place in Vardy's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at the Lower Lance Cove Salvation Army Cemetery.
