STEEVES, FREDA LOUISE
Freda Louise (Downey) Steeves passed away in Middleburg, Florida on November 27th at age 92, from the complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Ray, and brothers Autho (Halifax) and John (Hillsborough).
She is survived by: her sister, Marion (Ralph) Harris in Oromocto and brother Dale (Shirley) in Pugwash; children Mary-Ellen (Traver) Buskard in Ontario, Johnny (Linda) in Maine, Dean (Lesley) in Arizona, Jeannie (Mack) Kirkland in Florida, JoAnn (Greg) Corbat in Michigan, Joe (Marianne) in Tennessee; eleven grandchildren spread across North America from New Brunswick to California, and twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including Ronnie Downey in Petitcodiac.
Her life has been celebrated with immediate family and according to her wishes, she will be simultaneously buried with Ray, next to both their parents (Grace and Roy Downey from Albert Mines, Goldie and Rex Steeves from Surrey) at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens in Moncton on July 3rd, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. Extended family and friends are cordially invited to attend the graveside service.
