Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 7, 2015, Rick LaVallee, age 63 years. He was predeceased by his parents Carmelieta (Carm) and Joseph, Nadia and Danines’ mother, the late Bernice LaVallee, and brothers Joseph and Wayne. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Nadia and Danine (Dennis Pynn) and grandson Alexander, his partner Karon Kelly and family, brothers Danny (Cathy), Myron (Lucy), Jim (Germaine) and Reg; sister Diane Wiens (Marie); sisters-in-law Sylvia and Judy, and members of the Burke family, as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation took place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 11 at Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. A memorial service for Rick will be held in Flowers Cove later in the spring. Rick has touched many through his love of music whether mass, funerals, weddings or Christmas carolling. He leaves behind his music legacy with his daughters Nadia and Danine and grandson Alexander.
