It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of a great man William 'Blackie' Butts who died suddenly on Dec. 8, 2015.
He was a man who was short in stature but cast a long shadow, tough as nails but with a heart as big as all outdoors. He was a hard working man who spent many years in the coal mine. He loved his motorcycles, and all his family and friends.
Bill was a loving companion, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. To his special biker buddies we will ride again.
In following Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, there will be no visitation or service.
A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me, remember the best times. The laughter the song the good life, I lived while I was strong.
