Connolly, Richard
It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Richard “Rick” Frederick Connolly, loving husband of Beth (Sullivan) Connolly that occurred on Thursday December 10, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born 1959 in Saint John, he was the son of Marie (Gagnon) Connolly and the late Leonard Connolly.
In addition to his mother and his wife Beth, he is survived by his daughter Danielle Connolly of Saint John; step-children Myles Hartin and Amy Hartin both of Saint John; brothers Bruce (Candace) of Fredericton and Ted (Susan) of Saint John; sisters Debbie (Randy) Connors of Halifax and Lynn (Scott) Memory of Saint John; grandchildren Kaelan and Bryson who affectionately called him “papa”; several nieces and nephews and his best friend and feline companion Tommy.
Rick loved his coffee and could often be seen at his second home, Tim Horton’s Lansdowne. He enjoyed watching hockey especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and Saint John Sea Dogs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday December 14, 2015 at 2 p.m.
