After a courageous battle with liver disease, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Mike, at the VG Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2015.
Mike, in his 52nd year, born in Sydney, N.S., he was the youngest son of late Glenn 'Buddy' and Marlene (MacMillian) Andrews.
Dearly loved by his family, sister, Glenda Keys (David) and brother, Scott (Pam); nephews, Aaron, Breton, Blair, Glenn and only niece, Samantha. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to his countless number of friends and neighbours who were so kind and supportive at this difficult time, not only during his illness, but throughout his entire life.
Mike was a man who always had a happy, jolly smile and laugh for everyone. He loved his farm life and his K9 buddy Duncan. Mike worked for Bellows Construction, Hugh MacInnis Lumber and ECBC.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
