BALYCH, MARION "EMMA" JEAN
Surrounded by her extended family, the wonderful staff at Kings Way Care Centre in Quispamsis, Marion “Emma” (Smith) Balych passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Born 1930 in Calcutta, India she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Alice B. (Pratt) Smith.
Emma emigrated to Southern England for a few years and then began a new life in Canada in 1956. She travelled extensively throughout her life, embracing every different culture she came across. Emma always enjoyed all things in both art form and wildlife along with the love for life itself.
She will be greatly missed by her only son Nick (Gayle) Dunning of Quispamsis; brothers Richard “Dick” (Cecily) Smith of Wentworthville, NSW and Chris (Mary) of St. Ives, NSW along with their families.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Celebration of Emma’s life will be held at Kings Way Care Centre, 8 Squire Drive, Quispamsis on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 2:15 p.m.
