It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing on Sunday, December 13, 2015 of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt - Joan Mary Gallagher (LeGrow) in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband Doug (June 19, 2000); her parents Fred and Florence LeGrow; brothers Walter, William and Ron and infant sister, Shirley. Left to mourn her six children Florence (Barry Whelan), Annette (Barry Doyle), Joan (Tony Mahon), Mark (Jennifer), Lisa (Phil O`Connell), Doug (Tina); ten grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kyle, Nicole, Jenelle, Jessica, Nicholas, Shawna, Abigayle, Dawson and Devon; sisters Bride Salemno (Dominic), Hilda LeGrow, Florence Whitten (Ernest Whitten-deceased); sisters - in - law Bette Mullett (Paul-deceased) and Sarah LeGrow. Also leaving a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends including the residents of Rickett's Road Manor and her Bingo friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Clare`s 4 East and ICU, especially Danielle and Elaine, also her family Dr. Mabel Greene. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Tuesday from 2 PM - 9 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM - 9 PM. Funeral 9:30 AM on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from St. Patrick`s Church, Patrick Street with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted.
