The family of the late Linda Manuel would like to offer our sincere appreciation for the support which we received during Linda’s illness and passing. Many thanks to all those who called, sent cards and provided food — your expressions of sympathy were truly comforting. Thanks also to those who visited the funeral home, attended Linda’s funeral and contributed to her chosen charities.

During her illness, Linda was well cared for by Drs. McCarthy and Tompkins of the Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, as well as the nurses, staff and director of the Palliative Care Unit at Western Regional Memorial Hospital. We would like to express our particular thanks to Dr. Phil Morris, for his support and advice during the past several years.

The sensitivity and professionalism shown by the management and staff of Country Haven Funeral Home is also most appreciated.

To all of Linda’s many friends and extended family, your compassion was essential in helping us through this difficult time and will never be forgotten.
