It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing at home of our beloved mother Elizabeth Walsh, of St. John`s, formally of St. Brendan`s on Monday, December 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents William and Josephine White; her husband Walter; daughter Florence Shipley; sons Walter and Jerome. Left to cherish her memory are her six daughters Betty, Maureen (Bernard McGuire), Catherine (Jim King), Agnes (John Mason), Judy (Ray French) and Cindy; four sons Ed (Jocelyn), Bill (Mary), Sonny (Megan), Ron (Karen); son - in - law Colin Shipley; her beloved 24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, also many beloved and cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 18, 2015 from St. Teresa`s Church, Mundy Pond Road at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one`s choice.
