Joseph Edward Arsenault passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Hospice Barrie on December 14, 2015. Loving son of the Late Cyril and Emilda, and is survived by sisters Lorraine and Phyllis in Ontario with his brothers Wally and Junior in P.E.I. Predeceased by brothers Milton and Leonard. He was a special uncle to Owen, Marilyn, Wendy, Cathy, Kelly, Dean, Tammy, Stacey, Michelle, Jolene, Leonard, Debbie, Kim and Gregory and his many great-nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a mass for celebration of his life will be held in January at St. John Vianney Parish, Barrie. “Eddie lived for his people at the Queen Street Mental Hospital”. “He had the biggest heart with the ability to see that a cup of coffee meant so much more than just that”. “Eddie changed so many lives for the better, and always strived to see the authenticity in everyone”. Donations to Hospice Barrie would be appreciated. A special thank you to his amazing nurse Christine, Dr. Shourideh and staff, Dr. Parbtani, all the nurses, PSWs, and volunteers at Hospice, the staff at the Regional Cancer Centre.
