Richard John (Jack) Wheeler passed away on December 16, 2015 in Moose Jaw. Jack was born on the family farm in the Blue Hill District on August 21, 1926. He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Victoria (Walker) Wheeler; son Glen; infant brother Everett; brother Don (Elva); sisters Violet (Hugh) and Kathleen (Allwyn) (Reo); father-in-law and mother-in-law Herman and Rose Guild; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Roy (Ruby) Guild, Gordon (Ethel) Guild, Mel Guild and Clara (Pat) Carlson and infant brother-in-law Alvin. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pat; their children, Lynn (Jack), Ron (Lorrie) and Rhonda; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers Bill (Martha), Bob (Lorraine) and Raymond (Glennis) as well as several nieces and nephews. Jack was a lifelong farmer, rancher and devoted family man. In the earlier years you could often find Jack and Pat with their team of horses, “Rusty and Goldie”, on a wagon train or gone on a trip to see the country side visiting family and friends. In respect of Jack’s wishes a Private Immediate Family Graveside Service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Blue Hill United Church Cemetery Fund, Box 2, Briercrest, S0H 0K0. In living memory of Jack, a memorial planting will be made by W.J.
