It is with great sadness the family wish to announce the sudden passing of Devyn O'Connell on Dec. 16, 2015.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of Anita O'Connell and Joey Campbell.
Devyn enjoyed the outdoors (fishing), listening to music and also spending time with his friends, who he cherished dearly.
Besides his parents, he is also survived by his daughter, Zoey Gilmour; sisters, Santana (Shane) and Lindsay O'Connell; grandmother, Helen Campbell; uncles, Dougald (Jill), Lauchie Campbell; aunt, Kelly (John) Campbell; cousins, Kayla Jacobi, Roddy and Michael Campbell, Jordan (Samantha), Danielle and Riley O'Connell, special cousin and best friend Robin as well as best friend Ryan Murray.
Devyn was predeceased by his grandfather, Roddy Campbell; his grandmother, Muriel O'Connell and uncle, Pat (Brenda) O'Connell.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 from 11-1 p.m. followed directly by a chapel service in the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Interment in Union Grove Cemetery.
