It is with great sadness that the family of the late Millicent Slade announce her passing on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Guy; sons: Darryl (Glenda), of Deer Lake, Thomas (Michelle), of Caledon, Ontario; daughter: Nancy (Richard) Rogers of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandchildren: Loni (John), Steven, and Silas (Isabelle); special niece Joan (Austin), grandnephew: Shawn (Ainsley); great grandnephews: Ryan and Aaron; niece: Dale (Kevin) Miller, grandnieces: Nicole, Jessica, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Thomas and Alfreda Tilley; sister: Edna (Clayton) Rowe, and nephew: Raymond Rowe. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive on Sunday, December 20th, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21st, at 2 PM from St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake with Reverend Paulette Bugden officiating with interment to follow at Wights Road Anglican Cemetery.
