With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, brother and grandson Will Stubbert, 19, on Dec. 17, 2015.
Will was born in North Sydney on Sept. 2, 1996, to loving parents Ross and Rhonda, and little brother to Audrina and Katelyn, who loved him to the moon and back.
Will graduated from Memorial High School with his diploma in heavy duty mechanics in June 2014. Will always loved an adventure whether it was hunting, fishing, four wheeling in his Jeep, or hanging with the boys. Will was always up for anything with his buddies Devin, Travis, Noah and Riley, who he loved like brothers. And Will loved his furry friends, Buddy and Hunter.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Marlene and Glenn Carey, Florence, Sally Stubbert (Brosie Leblanc), Bras d’Or, and Ross Stubbert, Bras d’Or, and by uncle Jason (Shirley) Jessome, and cousins Amanda and Sara, aunt Catherine Stubbert and cousins Chelsey and Noah, uncle Wendell Stubbert and cousin, Olivia, uncle Todd (Tammy) Stubbert and cousin Hannah.
Will was predeceased by his grandfather Ronnie Jessome 'Gramp', aunt Cathy O’Handley, and his good friend Devon Gilbert.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. A reception will follow the service, in the parish hall. Burial at a later date in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Bras d’Or.
