WILSON, PATRICIA MARJORIE
1940 - 2015
Miramichi - Patricia Marjorie (Pat) Wilson, wife of John H. (Jack) Wilson, of North Black River Road, Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the age of 75. Born in Moncton, on March 11, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Marjorie (Geldart) Miller.
She was a homemaker and a retired seamstress, having worked at several retail stores as well as being self-employed in the occupation for many years. She was a dedicated member of St. Stephen’s United Church, Black River Bridge; a former member of the choir; a former member of Session; a member of and former Treasurer of St. Stephen’s U.C.W.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, John H. (Jack) Wilson; two sons, John R. Wilson (Monique), of Point Verte and Ralph Wilson (Shelly), of Bradford, Ont.; three grandchildren, Mason, Eden, Bo; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pat was a “Nanny” to a special girl next door, Faith Trajkovic. She was predeceased by one sister, Katherine Fisher.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Stephen’s United Church, Black River Bridge, on Monday December 28, 2015, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Black River Community Cemetery Fund, or any charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
