It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Tim Bonnell on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Francis Bonnell and Annette (Dubois) Bonnell Marshall.
Tim is survived by his wife of many years, Michelle (Costello), his children, Tim (Adrianna), Nicholas (Sarah), Travis (Holly), all of Sydney; his precious grandchildren, Akorah, Arayah and Travis Jr.
Tim is also survived by his siblings, Linda Ouellet, Barrie, Gail Bonnell, Oshawa, Larry (Sheila), Oshawa, Wally and Michael (Diane), Scarborough, many nieces and nephews as well as his close friends, Dave Ferguson, Joe Snow and Dave Fleet.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Franklyn Edwards, brother, Raymond and mother-in-law, Dorothy Costello.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 23,2015 at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., from 12-2 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
