Passed peacefully away at Presentation Convent, Cathedral Square, St. John's on Monday, December 21, 2015, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her parents Catherine and David Hickey of Outer Cove, her brothers Patrick, William, Jack and Martin; her sister Bride (David, dec.) Kean. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are: her sisters - Catherine (Cyril, dec.) Lynch, Margaret (Joseph, dec.) Cadigan, Partricia Janssens, Mary Hickey, Josephine (Ray) Corquodale, Magdalene (Peter) Watts; her brothers - Michael (Lynn), David (Josephine); sisters-in-law - Mary, Florence and Josephine; many devoted and attentive nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives, friends and the Presentation Sisters. Sister Anne is resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John's. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 21st from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, December 22nd from 10:00 - 12:00; 2:00 - 4:00, and 7:00 - 9:00, with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, December 23rd at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
