Passed away in the presence of those he loved the most, his family, on December 22nd, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Lucy and Stan; brothers, Gerald and Kenneth; Father-in-law Paul Halleran and brother-in-law Mark Halleran. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories the love of this life, his wife Roxanne of 27 years; two precious sons, who he was so proud of, Colin (Chelsea) and Michael (Alyssa); grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Emelia and Parker; sisters, Ann & Barb; brothers, Ray, John (Jean), Mike (Sylvia); mother-in-law, Peg Halleran; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Pat), Frances (Simon), Theresa, Lorraine (Allan), Maureen (Brian), Charlotte (Wayne), Michelle (Richard); brother-in-law, Paul (Lorna); special friends, Joe Fleming (Stephanie) and George Wilson (Lana); many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nephews; as well a large circle of friends, especially his sail mates on the CCGS Teleost. A very special thank you to all the nurses, staff and volunteers at the Palliative Care Unit and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center, especially Dr. Hurley and Dr. Siddiqui. At his request cremation has already taken place. Visitation will take place at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 2:00 pm - 9:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road, on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 9:30 am followed by private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or a charity of one's choice
