It is with very heavy hearts that the family of the Late Nellie Grenier announce her passing on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 74 years. Nellie will be forever loved, missed and remembered by her son Paul (Carolyn) Grenier; daughter Janet (Wayne) Lewis; daughter-in-law Nellie Grenier; grandchildren: Cheryl (Jason) Gabriel, Sharon (Trevor) Wood, Brian (Heather Specht) Grenier, Bethany (David) Parsons, Stacey (Kelly) Steinke, Patrick Lewis, Leah (Ian Kozeyah) Lewis, Sarah Lynn Grenier, Crystal Grenier, Jordan Grenier; great-grandchildren: Kenny & Austin Gabriel, Carter Wood, Kayla Specht, Natalie & Lilly Parsons, Katie Steinke; sisters: Shirley Woodring (Chuck), Francis (Eric) Brenton, brother Alec (Emily) Harnum; brother-in-law Bob Welsh; sister-in-law Muriel Morris as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband John, parents Sidney & Evelyn Harnum; son Roger; sisters: Elaine Harnum, Olive Welsh; brother Stirling Harnum; brother-in-law Raymond Morris. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A celebration of Nellie's life will take place on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the home of her son Paul, 20 Pleasant Avenue, Stephenville. All are welcome. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Kris Goose officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Roman Catholic Section of Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Stephenville, NL following the service.
