Jack Arnoldus
ARNOLDUS, JACK
1947-2015
With sad hearts the family of Jack Arnoldus, Lower Coverdale, announces his passing at The Moncton Hospital on December 23, 2015. Born in Leiden, Holland, he was the son of Cornelia and the late William Arnoldus. Jack worked for the Royal Bank for 24 years, retiring from Minacs in Riverview. He attended Bethel Presbyterian Church in Riverview where he served as treasurer for many years.
Jack is survived by his mother, wife Trena, daughters Patti Jardine (Dan) of Sackville and Kathy Jarvis (John) of Riverview, and was a proud grandfather to Mary and Owen; he will also be sadly missed by Fred and Donna Thorburn of Riverview, Paul and Marge MacLean of Miramichi and many nieces and nephews.
Jack’s life was his faith, family and friends. After retiring, Jack and Trena spent their time camping various places. Their deck was a popular spot filled with friends and laughter. Jack will be remembered for his hearty laugh, great smile and his love for the simple pleasures of life which included walking with his dog, Dawson. “No regrets” was his motto.
By request there will be no visitation. A funeral service will take place at Bethel Presbyterian Church (600 Coverdale Rd. Riverview) on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Charles Cook officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). Donations to any charity would be appreciated by his family but Jack’s wish would be a random act of kindness be done to others. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
