TONNER, IAN MACDONALD
It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Ian Tonner who passed away at Bobby’s Hospice on December 25th, 2015. Born in Greenock, Scotland on April 17, 1944 he was the son of the late Daniel and Catherine (MacDonald) Tonner.
Ian worked in sales and was a Taxi Cab Driver for many years retiring in 2010.
He is survived by his sons Keith and Colin both of Darlings Island; sister Sheila Brown of Waterloo, ON; nephew Craig Brown of Whitby, ON and niece Lynn Sobkowich of Winnipeg, MB.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday, December 30th from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on December 31st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception. Private family interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ian’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
