Stuart 'Baker' Mulley

Lieu de naissance : Florence
Date de naissance : 5 novembre 1959

Lieu de décès : Dalem Lake
Date de décès : 27 décembre 2015

It is with great sadness that we regret to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Stuart Wilson 'Baker' Mulley, age 56, on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Florence, on Nov. 5, 1959, he was the only son of the late Angus and Willena (Bragg) Mulley.
In 1986 Stuart married the love of his life Marina and they moved to Dalem Lake, where they raised their loving family. He was the most amazing husband, dad and friend. Stuart was an auto body mechanic for 37 years. His career began at Northside Auto Salvage and later with the Cape Breton Regional School Board. From an early age, “Baker”, as he was known by many, had a fond interest in motorbikes. You could often see him scooting around the fields or up and down the dirt roads in Middle River. Later in life he got his dream bike, a Harley Davidson, and enjoyed many bike rides touring the island with his son Travis.
Stuart loved his family unconditionally. He had a huge heart and a great sense of humor and was known for always having the last word. As a child Baker spent many summers at the family cabin in Middle River, and for the last few years there were lots of memorable moments shared with many family and friends. Stuart looked forward to the hot summer days relaxing on Inverness Beach.
Stuart is survived by his wife and best friend of 29 years, Marina (Cholock) Mulley, his daughter Kayla (Mike), son Travis, his stepson Randy (Dawn), and his precious granddaughter Sophia Cholock. He is also survived by his stepsister Linda Vickers (Terrance Black), stepbrothers Joe (Betty) Bernon and Keith (Anne Marie) Bernon, mother-in-law Carmie Cholock and brothers-in-law Calvin (Kim) Cholock and Tom Cholock. Stuart was also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stuart was predeceased by his stepmother Bea Mulley, his father-in-law Hubert Cholock and his lifelong friend Terrance Nicholson.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church North Sydney, with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ride for The Cure Foundation or the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
Online condolences may be sent to www.wjdooley.com.
