Monty will be dearly issed by brothers, Reg (Joyce), Welland, Ont., Bob (Lynn), North Sydney, Keith, Sydney, Peter (Brenda), Bellmont, Ont.; sisters, Helen (Simon) Dodick, Sydney, Debbie (Jack) Steeneveld, Tillsonburg, Ont., Liz (Greg) Anderson, Brampton, Ont., Bev (John) Rusewald, Colorado Springs, USA.
Predeceased by his parents, Susan and Reginald Ballam and brother Charlie.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Monty's life will take place in Oliver, B.C. in April 2016.
