It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Park announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Friday, January 1st 2016 at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Patsy (Stewart) Sutton of Nova Scotia, Eldon (Marion) of Mississauga, Ontario, Michael (Peggy) of Orangeville, Ontario, Doug (Sylvia) of Shelburne, Ontario, Darrell (Donna) of Mississauga, Ontario, and Diane (Alex) of McIver's ; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his sister: Dorothy Bowering and a circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Margaret; daughter: Bernice; parents: Augustus and Ethel Park; and sister: Sylvia Park, and brother: Roy. Visitation will take place from Church of the Epiphany in McIver's on Sunday, January 3rd and Monday January 4th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM from where Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, January 5th at 11: AM with Reverend Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery McIver's. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
