Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness on January 1, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by his parents James Bernard Bartlett and Sarah (Grant); brothers Jim (Gwen), Fred (Della), Jack (Mary Lou), Bill (Theresa), Harry (Betty) and Doug (Elsie); sisters Ida (Bert), Mary (Warren) and Bernice. Leaving to mourn are his close friends Rose-Ann Connors and Paul Francis; his faithful companion Jackson as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. "Poppy" George also leaves to mourn great-great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at George's request. Visitation to take place at Caul's Funeral Home on Monday, January 4 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's Parish on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Inurement to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
