Passed peacefully away on January 5, 2016 after a brief illness, formerly of Calvert, age 88. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Annie, brothers: Frances, Norman and Angus, sisters: Charlotte (Lottie) and Clara. Left to celebrate his life and mourn his passing are his loving sisters Agnes Kenny (Raymond), Deer Lake, Jessie Power (Ray), St. John's and Lena Oates, Fermeuse. Special thanks to brother-in-law Ray Power who was so good to Uncle Cyril over the years. Thanks also to Alderwood Estates in Witless Bay where Uncle Cyril called home for the past five years. Also left to mourn are a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
