BABINEAU, LÉOPOLD
1926 – 2016
Léopold Babineau, 89, of Villa Maria in Saint-Louis and formerly of Richiboucto-Village, passed away peacefully at the Villa on Wednesday January 6, 2016. He was married to Jeanne (Richard) Babineau. Born in Richiboucto-Village, he was the son of the late Hector and the late Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Babineau.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeanne, his son Ronnie (Bernice) of Richiboucto-Village, two step-grandchildren, Monica and Jérémie, and a sister Laura Babineau of Richiboucto-Village as well as several nephes and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Maria and Marie and six brothers; Alcide, Aurèle, Ernest, Gerard, Henri and Zoël.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richiboucto-Village on Monday January 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
