It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cora Pittman announce her passing on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Bonne Bay Hospital in her 70th year. She will be sadly missed with loving memories by her children Kim (Eugene) Payne, Robert Pittman Jr. and Larry (Sherry) Barnes, all of Trout River, grandchildren Jason, Kristina, Stephen and Colton, great-grandchildren Jaida and Aaliyah, brothers Armenius (Doreen) Barnes and Kenneth (Irene) Barnes. Also leaves to mourn Robert Pittman, a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Marjorie Barnes, siblings Glossen Barnes and Melvin Barnes. By request of Cora cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Monday, January 11th, 2016, at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Church in Trout River with Major Henry Bingle officiating.
