Age 90 years
Passed peacefully away at St. John's Long-Term Care Facility in the presence of his loving family on January 6, 2016. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary Margaret Kearney (nee Short) in 2015, parents Patrick and Molly Kearney (nee Callahan), sisters Bridget, Julia and Helen, brothers Bern and Bill and his sons Patrick and Anthony Kearney. Leaving behind with fond and loving memories his sons Andy (Janet) and Jim (Rosalind), his two loving grandsons Shawn and Brandon (Katherine), with one great-grandson Adrienne, sister Frances and brother Bob, long-time friend and extended family member, Barbara Mercer. Also a long list of nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday at a time to be announced on January 12, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to any local charity of choice.
