Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, Vera Irene Squires (nee Starkes) aged 82 years, formerly of Paradise. Predeceased by her late husband Corbett (1994). Left to celebrate her life and mourn her passing are her daughters Sherry (Ralph) Taylor, Fay (Terry) Rideout and Paulette (Corey) Gregory. She will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren Tracy (David) Toomey, Terry and Robin (Katie) Dawe, Corey and Ashley (Kaetan) Rideout, Keegan and Kailey Gregory, her two great-grandchildren Abby Toomey and Curtis Dawe, as well as her special niece and forever friend Christine Edgecombe. Mom also leaves to mourn a large circle of cherished relatives and friends. Visitation to take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Saturday January 9th, from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday January 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service to take place on Monday, January 11th, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Topsail United Church, Topsail CBS.
