Passed peacefully away at the Clarenville Hospital in the presence of his family on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his 1st wife, Mary, in 1983 and his 2nd wife, Marble, in 2003, son Leonard and daughter-in-law Annie, Brothers Robert, Eli, Albert, Lionel and sister Lucy. He leaves to mourn his children, Lilly (Cecil), Dian (Stan), Mary (John), John (Janice) and Cindy (Dennis). His step-children Barbara, Bruce (Lorraine), Rex (Eileen), Greta (Tom), Iris and Jack (Helen). Sisters-in-Law Joyce Vivian & Jean Randell. His special 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren and one Great-great-grand daughter. Also 14 Step Grandchildren and 11 Step great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Clarenville Retirement Centre for their kind care over the past 2 years and the Nursing Staff of the Clarenville Hospital. Visitations on Monday 7-9 pm, Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 at Christ Church, Port Rexton. Funeral service on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at Christ Church, Port Rexton. Internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Church Memorial Fund or a charity of ones choice.
