We, the family of the late Marie Marsman (Morrison), wish to express our sincere thanks to our family, friend and neighbors for their love and support during our recent loss. Thank you to everyone who came from near and far to convey their heartfelt sympathy’s for our Mother’s visitation and funeral. We are truly blessed to have such amazing people in our lives. Thank you to all who sent flowers, cards, online condolences and charitable donations in Marie’s memory. Special thanks to Pastors Kevin Mattatall and Bruce DeYoung for providing such an uplifting service for our Mom’s Home Going. Thank you to our Brother, Pastor Michael Morrison for the wonderful and perfectly suiting eulogy. You made us and Mom proud as usual. Thank you to vocalist and family friend Eddie Parris for your beautiful music. Mom always loved your singing. To organist Christine Hahn, thank you. Special thanks to Colleen Leadbeater, for the use of her beautiful music, “Song for Mom”. To our friends who volunteered and organized the wonderful reception held at the Melnick Hall following Mom’s funeral, we thank you for your kindness. To all who provided the wonderful selection of delicious homemade food that was served. To the Pallbearers: Grandsons: Duane, Mark, Todd Jr. and Aaron, Son in law, Paul Price and Nephew Leroy Marsman. Honorary Pallbearers: Grandsons Chase, Jonathan, Brandon, Michael and Brother-in-law Delano Marsman.
Special thanks to City Homemakers for continuous care. Our Mom enjoyed your daily visits. Thank you to Dr. Peter Jackson and Dr. Margaret Fraser for many years of care and kindness. Thank you to Bill Laurie and his staff, of the Pier Community Funeral Home for your kind, friendly professional services. We would like to express how blessed and fortunate we feel to have such wonderful friends, family and community. You all showed us such love and kindness during this difficult time. Our Mom would have been amazed by the outpouring of love and friendship given to all of us on her behalf.
