Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 of Eileen Monaghan (nee MacMillan), RN, of Charlottetown and formerly of Eldon.
Beloved wife of the late Ivan Monaghan and dear mother of Shayne (Sally) and Ronnie (Janet). Loving Nanny of Calvin and Carlye. Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Austin and Annie (Lyons) MacMillan, her sister, Rita (late Arthur McQuaid and late Matthias Murray), and brothers, James (Verna) MacMillan and Wilfred (Marion) MacMillan.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday afternoon, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Members of the Charlottetown Hospital Nurses Alumnae will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
