Passed peacefully away on Tuesday December 8th, 2015 at her happy place in Largo, Florida at the age of 67 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Reg and Jean (Kirby) Young, and Sister Barbara Connors. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Reid, daughter Patti (Chris Johnston), son Keith (Jennifer) and four wonderful grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Taylor, Ryan, Katelyn and Gavin; brother Bob Young (Elaine), very special aunt Vi Williams; special friends Gail Layden and Joyce Murphy. A large circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many other relatives and friends. Liz was a graduate of the Grace Hospital School of Nursing - class of 1969 and cherished her regular get togethers with her classmates. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, January 14th from 10 - 12, 2 - 4, and 7 - 9 and on Friday, January 15th from 10 am - 12 noon. A funeral service will take place at Carnell's Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road at 2:00pm on Friday, January 15th, 2016. Inurnment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the CNIB, the heart and stroke foundation or a charity of one's choice.
