ALMON, DOUGLAS
Mr. Douglas Almon of Penobsquis, passed away on January 13, 2016 at the age of 73.
He is survived by his children: Dorothy Carhart (David Edling), Jerry Almon (Sue), David (Annette Taylor) and Doug Almon (Kim Lackie); his sister: Louise Howe, his brothers: Ralph Almon (Juanita Strong) and Clifford Almon (Nancy Forgraves) , his sister in law Joanne Almon, his brother-in-law Richard Wood, the mother of his children, Jean Foley and her husband Greg, a special neighbour Billy Norden, as well as by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Doug is predeceased by brothers: Tom, Bud and Bryant, his sister Jane Wood, his sons-in-law: Jerry Cole and David Carhart, and by his brother-in-law Ronald Howe.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8pm. A service celebrating Mr. Almon’s life will follow in the Wallace Community at 8pm.
