Francis Patrick Duke, formerly of Fox Harbour, passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre in St. John's, surrounded by his loving family. He was in his 86th year. He is predeceased by his wife Cecilia (nee McGrath), parents Isaac and Sarah, stepmother Susie, sisters Mary Ellen DiAngelo, Nora O'Brien and brothers Maurice, Michael and Patrick. He leaves to mourn his children Susanna, Clara Rendell (Howard), Frank (Marie), Elizabeth McNeil (Joseph); grandchildren Maria, Sarah (Matt), Catherine, Jennifer, Brendan, Alex, Nicholas, Jared and Joey; sisters-in-law Ann McGrath and Agnes Duke as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation to take place at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place from Corpus Christi Church on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
