Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St John's. John E. Ebbs, age 83. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses on 7th Floor West. Predeceased by his parents Michael Ebbs and Elizabeth O'Brien; sisters Alice Somerton, Helen Whelan and Annie Ebbs, as well brothers and sisters in-law from the Yetman family, John, Joe, Blanche, Bride and Mamie. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 61 years Vera (Yetman); daughters Anne Norris (Bruce) and Vera Power (Don); sister Florence Sayre, Michigan USA as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. As per his request cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
