The passing of George W. Pettie, age 88 occurred on January 16, 2016 in Mississauga, ON. Born in South Clones, Queens County, he was a son of the late George S. and Margaret (Woods) Pettie and husband of the late Mildred (Lindsey) Pettie.
Survived by a daughter Rene; brothers Douglas and Donald (Amelia) Pettie; nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by three sisters and three brothers.
