The death of Miss. Jean Clara Shean, 69, of Moncton, occurred on Saturday January 16, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born January 26, 1946 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Octavie (Gallant) Shean.
Jean was retired from J.D. Creaghan’s and a hairstylist for Françoise Beauty Salon.
She is survived by a sister, Shirley Lewis (John); four brothers: Joseph (Corinne), Clement (Corinne), Howard “Ticker” (Irene), and John “Jack”; many nieces and nephews.
Jean is also predeceased by a sister, Mary; and a brother, Frank.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19 at 11 am. Visiting hours Tuesday from 10 am until time of funeral. A reception at the centre will follow. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
