Passed peacefully away at the S.A. Glenbrook Lodge on January 15, 2016 in the presence of her loving family, Doris Mildred Wiseman (nee Brown), aged 97 years. Predeceased by her husband James; four brothers and four sisters. Left with loving memories are her sons: Robert (Barbara) and Ronald; also her much loved grandchildren: Terry (Alida), Plano, Texas, Stephen (Lori), St. John's and Andrea (Tony) Jenkins, Fall River, N.S. She leaves eight cherished great-grandchildren: Sean, Cole, and Grace Wiseman; Ty, Rowan, Reese and Mason Jenkins; and Sydney Wiseman. She also leaves a wide circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She is greatly missed by her two feline companions, Dan and Carter. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 12 Noon to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 20 at 11 a.m. from Carnell's Memorial Chapel. Inurnment to follow at the General Protestant Cemetery, Waterford Bridge Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or to a charity of one's choice.
