With saddened hearts we announce that James Alasdair Curran passed suddenly away at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on January 15, 2016, age 59 years. Jamie was predeceased by his father Thomas and mother Margaret (MacPherson). Leaving to mourn are his wife of 32 years Melody; son Matthew; daughter Jennie; brother Tom; sisters Anne Currie (Gerry), Marie Dalton (Gil), Sheila, and Penny Buchanan (Bob); sisters-in-law Natalie Halloran (Toby) and Leslie MacKinnon (Mike); brother-in-law Greg MacKinnon (Tanya). In addition, many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. There will be a celebration of his life at Carnell's Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Rd., Mt. Pearl, on Saturday January 23rd, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to the Lung Association.
