Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, January 17, 2016, Hannah Mary Drake (nee Hodder), formerly of St. Bernard's, NL. Predeceased by her children: Roger Drake and Gloria Drake; her husband Leslie Drake; son-in-law Eugene Lambe; and 15 siblings. Leaving to mourn, her children: Eleanor Lambe, Pat Drake (Blanche Smith), Christina Woodfine (Andy), Ursula Mitchell (Paul Vey), Leslie Drake (Von Colbert), Ann McCarthy (Basil) and Lorne Drake (Judy Collins); her brother Doug Hodder; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; special friends Mary Dillon and Wayne Rose; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, January 19, from 5-9 pm and on Wednesday, January 20, from 10 am - 2 pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 3:30 pm, with interment to take place at a later date.
